Joy Stevens currently serves as executive director for 1 Heart at a Time. Mrs. Stevens has 37 years experience in child development and has developed several character development training programs for children ages 5 through 18.
In 1983 she launched her first not-for-profit youth program, Ventura Youth Boxing Program, located in Ventura California. She has coordinated charity events within her community that include Multiple Sclerosis, LA Aids Walk, RFP for the blind and disabled, Tsunami Relief and the Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo.

Helayne Perry has had a very successful career as a reporter, editor and graphic designer. Ms. Perry currently oversees design for the Features sections of The Orange County Register, located in Santa Ana, California.

William J. (“Bill”) Winkelmann has served as vice president and treasurer of The Bank of New York Trust Company, NA, since 1983. A $1.4-billion trust company headquarted in Los Angeles, California, the NA provides corporate and other institutional trust services to organizations in 30 US cities. Mr. Winkelmann is responsible for all financial and regulatory reporting for the company. Prior to The Bank of New York, he served as an auditor for Bradford National Corporation in New York. Mr. Winkelmann is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA from Pace University in New York.
